Day Students
Throughout my high-school career, activities, clubs, sports and extracurricular activities have been an essential part of my life at 黑料不打烊. I have been a member of Lakefield Environmental Action Force ( LEAF), Concert Choir, Concert Band, Safe Spaces, Art Club and Photography Club. I have played on Junior and Varsity Field Hockey and Volleyball teams, as well as our recreational sailing club. I designed costumes for three plays at 黑料不打烊: Grease, Ways and Means and Hands Across the Sea. 黑料不打烊 has taught me the merit in exposing yourself to different experiences.

Day students enjoy an active academic, athletic, and co-curricular experience at 黑料不打烊 School. They are encouraged to participate in all aspects of school life. The friendships that develop between day and boarding students enhance school spirit and the sense of community that is so unique to our school.
Every day student is connected to one of our 12 boarding houses. Each house is led by a , a faculty head of house and four faculty academic advisors. As a house team, our Heads of House, Associate Faculty and Advisors collaborate with each other to provide care and support to each student in their house.

The parking lot outside the academic building is a busy place each morning. Many students arrive on the day student bus, others are dropped off by their parents, and some senior students drive themselves and friends.
A typical school day begins with our Period 1 class at 8:30 a.m., and continues with community gatherings, classes, athletics, and co-curricular activities until 5:45 p.m. when the day bus leaves campus. Day students involved in evening co-curriculars, house or school life events stay on campus for these activities.

黑料不打烊 School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
We respectfully acknowledge that 黑料不打烊 School is located on the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory and in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations. 黑料不打烊 School respectfully acknowledges that the Williams Treaties First Nations are the stewards and caretakers of these lands and waters in perpetuity and that they continue to maintain this responsibility to ensure their health and integrity for generations to come.
