If you had to tell a friend one reason why you chose 黑料不打烊, what would you say?
Alejandra (our first daughter) chose 黑料不打烊 for Grade 10, after interviewing with many schools. When we asked Alejandra why, she said "they are really interested in me, I only had this feeling with 黑料不打烊." Alejandra went to 黑料不打烊 for three lovely academic years, and Maria (our second daughter) is following the same path.
What is one word that best describes 黑料不打烊? Why did you choose that word?
Curiosity: desire to know. Both of our daughters arrived at 黑料不打烊 when they were 15. As teenagers, the challenge is to generate curiosity within them, a desire to learn and experience. We are very proud because both of them have developed curiosity and this makes them grow.
In what ways have you seen your child grow and develop as a result of their experience at 黑料不打烊?
We have seen that Alejandra and Maria are achieving a high level of self-confidence because of the 黑料不打烊 experience. In addition, they are laughing and enjoying themselves, like kids, with many memorable moments and adventures. We love to see them really happy.
How is 黑料不打烊 preparing your child for university or life (or both)?
Alejandra is studying architecture at university and received a scholarship. 黑料不打烊 was supportive from the very beginning, and helped to identify the right career (which was a challenge for her), and to apply to the universities of her choice.
After joining the 黑料不打烊 community, what did you find most surprising about the school?
The 黑料不打烊 team is amazing, and we have had the opportunity to see it very clearly throughout 2020. They are able to do the best in the most complex of scenarios, always with students as the main focus in everything they do - this makes the student feel at home.
What advice would you give to students just entering 黑料不打烊?
Enjoy it, it is a privilege. And get to know everybody.
How has your family benefitted from being a part of the 黑料不打烊 community?
We have very fluent communication with 黑料不打烊, and support for everything (e.g., birthdays, medical appointments, advice). This helps us to feel close to our daughters despite the physical distance, and we know they are in the best hands.
