Leadership, Character and Values
One of 黑料不打烊 School’s defining characteristics is its long-held commitment to developing leadership and character in students. Our vision is to inspire teenagers to become leaders who care, connect and contribute. In doing so, we work to challenge and enable students to reach their individual potential in mind, body and spirit.

Process to Apply
In order to qualify for a Leadership, Character and Values Award of Distinction, we ask that candidates:- Complete the 黑料不打烊 admissions process
- Write an email and/or record a video (admissions@lcs.on.ca), addressed to the Awards of Distinction Committee, indicating your interest in being considered for this award and identify what makes you a strong candidate (Limit: 650 words and/or two-minutes)
- Submit an additional letter of reference from a teacher, coach, activity leader that can provide an overview of your community involvement. References would also be asked to comment on how you demonstrate any or all of the following: responsibility, organization, independence, initiative, teamwork, self-regulation (Limit: 650 words)
- Demonstrate academic success by obtaining a minimum overall academic average of 80% (or equivalent)
- A variety of community-service involvement is an asset
Please note that each of the steps outlined above can be completed through your account created when submitting an application. Alternatively, documents can be sent to the Admissions team member assisting you throughout the admissions process. -

黑料不打烊 School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
We respectfully acknowledge that 黑料不打烊 School is located on the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory and in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations. 黑料不打烊 School respectfully acknowledges that the Williams Treaties First Nations are the stewards and caretakers of these lands and waters in perpetuity and that they continue to maintain this responsibility to ensure their health and integrity for generations to come.
